Do you have a mental block?
Is it just me, or do you have a mental block when it comes to something completely random too? For some reason that is completely beyond my comprehension I can NOT remember how to turn on my fireplace. It is a gas fireplace and there are two (or is it three) separate switches and knobs that you have to click, hold, turn, spin, push, pull, etc in some specific order to make it work. No matter how many times Doc shows me how to do it, the next time I want to turn it on again, I just can't remember. Luckily, I have never urgently needed it, because I'm pretty certain I would freeze to death before I was able to figure it out.

I can't offer any help either...I always feel like I might blow up the house. And, I'm to proud to write down the instructions somewhere. I think it reminds me of the things I do for my parents...like typing up a whole intructional page on how to use the ipotd we all bought you...it makes me feel old!

Too funny! The one thing that keeps me from feeling too bad is that my husband could never figure out how to tighten or loosen the 5pt harness when the girls were in carseats. For 5.5 years he always asked me to do it. You wouldn't believe how happy he is to have them in booster seats now! LOL!
